The District CE is at the heart of our local community. We are committed to giving all children an education of the highest standard and the best possible opportunities to excel and become successful citizens and lifelong learners.
Our teachers and teaching assistants provide an exciting and challenging curriculum within a warm, nurturing learning environment, and we support our children to develop positive attitudes to learning and excellent standards of behaviour. The Pastoral Team work closely with children and parents to offer support, guidance and help in times of need or crisis.
Our children tell us they feel happy and safe in school, from our two year olds in our Little Stars Nursery to our oldest pupils in Year 6. Our aim is to provide learning experiences and wider enrichment opportunities, which our children will cherish for the rest of their lives. We offer many extra-curricular activities, including sports, the arts, choir and computing. We provide a range of extended services to meet the needs of families: such as breakfast, after school and holiday club.
We have strong links with St John The Baptist Church and our mission statement The caring path to achievement, reflecting the values of Christ, is supported by our key values of friendship, trust, compassion, love, forgiveness and endurance.
We are a friendly team with a family ethos and we always welcome visitors.
