What a busy term it’s been in Year 3! The children have been learning about The Stone Age, The Bronze Age and The Iron Age.

In Art, the children designed and made wonderfully detailed pots and necklaces. They used clay to create their own Bronze Age statues and carefully decorated them using acrylic paints, to make them look as realistic as possible.

In PE, the children worked with one of our parent governors who is a dance specialist. They thoroughly enjoyed creating their very own tribal dances which they performed to the Year 4 children.

In English, the children read Stone Age Boy and Ug. They have also used non-fiction books from our Bookworms Library, to extend their knowledge and understanding of our topic.
